Overview of Resolve Notts
Resolve is an organisation formed in January 2024, in response to Nottingham City Council’s drastic and poorly consulted budget cuts. These cuts disproportionately harm the most vulnerable people in our community, so we came together to demand better.
150+ organisations backed our initial letter to the City Council, and 12,000 local people backed our petition that was delivered to Downing Street (media here), calling for the restoration of Government funding and proper engagement and collaboration with Nottingham people in how we deliver our local services.
We want to see the city and its people thrive, not survive.
